Loren King's Oak Hollow Sound

Room Type:

Recording Studio

Location:

Oregon City, OR

Press:

Mix Magazine

Originally a 23’ x 47’ detached garage with dirt floors, Haverstick Designs helped convert this space into a four-room recording studio with Live Room, Control Room, Vocal Booth, and Client Lounge. Isolation was a primary concern in the construction of this studio due to its proximity to nearby homes. Extensive isolation materials were utilized during the build phase, including doors and seals provided by IsoStore. While the rear-wall diffusers were provided by Overtone Acoustics, the rest of acoustical treatments were custom-designed. The dramatic transformation of this space earned Oak Hollow a position on Mix Magazine’s “Class of 2015”.
