SERVICES
We have helped tame difficult rooms across a wide array of commercial spaces that all have their own unique considerations when it comes to acoustics and sound isolation.
With the proper plan, noisy restaurants can become conversation hubs, loud classrooms can transform into focused learning environments, unintelligible speech in conference rooms can morph into clear direction and motivation for your staff, chaotic healthcare facilities can be converted into tranquil healing centers that keep personal information private.
If you have a need to control sound – whether it is an issue of privacy, safety, comfort or general ear fatigue – we are here to help.
COMMERCIAL & EDUCATION
On Site Acoustical Testing
A representative from Haverstick Designs will visit your commercial facility to measure the acoustical properties of the space. Collecting real-world data enables us to identify specific acoustic anomalies unique to your environment. Pinpointing these issues not only enhances the accuracy of our analysis and recommendations, but also allows us to propose solutions that are both efficient and cost-effective for your business needs. We will develop detailed acoustical models of the space and correlate those predictions with on-site measurements. Subjective listening tests will also be conducted to gain a full understanding of the room’s acoustic performance. A comprehensive report outlining our findings and providing targeted acoustical recommendations will be delivered to help improve the sound environment of your commercial space.

Remote Acoustical Assessment
Using the information you provide—such as room dimensions, surface materials, and digital photos—Haverstick Designs will create acoustical models of your commercial space to help predict and identify potential sound issues. If your team has access to an omni-directional measurement microphone and the ability to play back and record a WAV file, we can remotely gather valuable acoustic data, including Frequency Response, Impulse Response, and Waterfall Plots. This remote analysis option provides critical insight into your room’s acoustics—without the added expense of an on-site visit—making it a cost-effective solution for improving your facility’s sound environment.

Room Design/Space Planning
The planning stage is the ideal time to engage a qualified acoustical consultant. If you are designing a new commercial facility or renovating an existing space, Haverstick Designs can help optimize your room layout by advising on room dimensions, surface materials, wall and ceiling angles, and other critical details—ensuring the best possible acoustic performance from the start.

Sound Isolation Review
Haverstick Designs will review the construction details of your commercial space to assess the expected level of sound isolation. Using advanced modeling software, we can simulate virtually any wall, ceiling, or floor assembly to predict Transmission Loss (TL) values and provide recommendations tailored to your specific sound isolation needs.
Be sure to explore our Sound Isolation Simulator, which compares ten different wall structures and their effectiveness at blocking sound. This tool helps you understand the cost-benefit of various construction options, enabling smarter decisions for your project’s budget and acoustic performance.

Photorealistic 3D Renderings
In addition to our standard architectural acoustical consulting services, Haverstick Designs offers photorealistic 3D renderings to visually showcase how our acoustic designs will take shape in your commercial environment. These detailed visuals help clearly communicate final design choices to stakeholders, enhancing understanding and bringing an added level of excitement to your project.
