In September 2020, Mid South Audio opened a brand-new recording studio in Milton, DE. This 2,500 square foot, seven room facility is part of MSA's new headquarters which features a new show room and retail space. With the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic causing ripples in the event/production industry, MSA shifted many of its employees to build the studio in-house, effectively avoiding any lay-offs. Custom bass trapping, ceiling clouds, and wall treatment were built by MSA employees after various on-site visits to fine-tune the space into an acoustically sound environment suitable for professionals to hone their music. The space, featuring two (2) Control Rooms, two (2) Isolation Booths, and a spacious Live Room. Acoustical Fulfillment’s Flex-48 Adaptive Treatment System is utilized in multiple rooms to make sure that any client’s musical needs and preferences can be satisfied. The studio was rounded out with Barefoot Sound studio monitors and an Audient console, giving Mid South a great space to work in for years to come!
